Tell Sheriff Ahern to Stop Coordinating With ICE

Currently, the Alameda County Sheriff's Office sends ICE information about people detained in county jails - including the date and time of their release - in response to ICE "notification" requests. This makes it possible for ICE to detain those individuals as soon as they are released from jail.

IB members are asked to call Alameda County Sheriff Ahern (510-272-6878) and tell him you are a resident of Alameda County who is concerned about the sheriff's office sharing information with ICE.
